Daihatsu Hijet Maxx Steel Cargo have been widely used in Japan for every industries. 659cc, 3 cylinder fuel injection engine have been fitted into the engine bay which produce a  horsepower of 43hp and 58nm of torque. A 5 speed close ratio gearbox playing the main role for transmitting the power from engine to the wheel. There are 2 version of Daihatsu Hijet Maxx in market, which are know as model S200P with configuration of 4x2, and S210P which having a 4x4 configuration (all whell drive).

Daihatsu Hijet Maxx have been import and introduce into the Malaysia market as a Recon Truck (but classified into Rebuilt category). All the unit imported have been fully refurbished from engine to cabin and tyre.
